Decelles Flamingo is a gorgeous variegated violet.

Decelles' Flamingo (8468) 06/15/1996 (Y. Decelles) Single red sticktite star/white edge. Variegated medium green and cream, plain. Standard

Your leaves are variegated and that's the white you are seeing. The baby plantlet is highly variegated. Leave it with the mother leaf for a while and maybe it will green up some. A little weak high nitrogen fertilizer or fish emulsion might help to green it up also. Separating the plantlet now may cause it to die because it has so little to no chlorophyll (what makes a leaf green) in the leaves.
