WOW- Hanging Hummingbirds!

I've never seen anything like this before and they say its happened a number of times.

Haha, I have no idea but I would think they would all be hanging if that were the case.

Those are some awesome pictures. Wish my camera was that good or is it the guy behind the camera.....I've sure never seen hangers before.

Experts say that hummers won't drink fermented nectar. Actually, it doesn't ferment so much as grow mold, which would be very harmful if they did drink it.

Since this is migration time, the little guy was probably exhausted, especially if it had encountered a storm or heavy wind. The other possibility is that it was weakened for some reason, or ill.
