Hey Gail,Thats a neat begonia...Recognize this? Strep called Wintermint... I think you sent me last month?? Came home tonight to it in bloom!.I had no idea what it would look like in bloom.I have never seen a prettier Strep : ))

how pretty........had I known it was this pretty, I might not have given it away (LOL).........I had a lot of streps from Gary that had never bloomed so I didn't know what i was giving away........yes, it was me..............still laffin'
I knew it HAD to be you! LOL Gosh now I feel bad you sent her to me...Oh I really..really love it!! Please don't say you want it back now..LOL..No..if you would I would gladly send her back..you know that : ))

darn it...........my camera program is messed up and I lost my message and picture...........what i am saying is to start sticking strep leaves in 1/2 perlite and 1/2 vermiculite in a solo cup.......................when you get a lot of strep leaves from people then you can send me a leaf of her................but not now...........she is too little................she will be naked (LOL)
I have taken the pics and can't find them............sending this note and going to find them...........frustrated (as usual)
Well, then, don't be so stubborn................those are beautiful..............fantastic and when we offer to help you, you won't let us...............do you grow by leaf...........can send you a lot of leaves.............think I have given my adult plants away.............will have new plantlets all the time and of course leaves.........................
OK...............calling the computer tech to come over tomorrow...........I had to go to a different hard drive to use the photo program.............it is on Vista.............we will start sending you pretty avs Starfly................you have been through enough this year.............

I will send out many many leaves of everything I have.................I didn't realize (wrapped up in my own world)...............that you lost everything when you left....................it will be next Monday as i can't get out the packages I have to do today and tomorrow...............

Beautiful bloom Lin!! Rain sent me a Blue Heaven Episcia in a trade we did and it was the first light colored leafed episcia I had. I really like the lighter foliage and I hope it looks close to yours when it blooms!!! Unless the fimbrata part in the name means I have a different one. I don't recall that on the label....
I'm growing lots of baby streps Starfly, when they get big enough to travel I'll send you some of them. Do you also like streps along with your AV's??

Brenda,Ma's Winter Moon has always been a good bloomer for me.Of course its not blooming now tho : ( but I am sure enjoying the pic of yours : ))
Eunice,I will have to look around here and see what I can send you to help you get your collection going again too.Most of my favorites I have originally came from our generous friends right here on Daves Without my DG pals I would probably only have 1 plant stand full instead of..welll..I won't even go there..lol

YOu really have the green thumb.............I love Ma's Winter Moon.............the first blooms are never as pretty as the plant gets older and blooms again............I have one blooming right now on the second bloom and they are so nice.....................
