Labor Day Blooms

Nederland, TX(Zone 9a)

Just a handfull but they had some nice donor foliage from another bush. I had to pluck them because it looks like it is going to rain again.

Wow.....the first two are really special. They are all great.

Robert, terrific blooms today!!! Ya know, when I see the bloom pictures of Pride of Acadinia from you and Kell, I'm just green with envy! I so wish mine would bloom - I swear this plant just doesn't like me :-(

Chartreuse Rose doesn't look as much like Time for Magic this time - beautiful! Cosmic Dancer is definitely on the list - you know how I love those bright and gaudy colors :-)

Only a few for me today, as my buds are either dropping like flies or trying not to open till it cools down...First up, Erin Rachael has two blooms just like this.

Gator Pride is nice and orange today. Excuse the freckled and dirty hand (yuck!).

I caught Hot Bikini before her edges got too crispy today.

Voodoo Magic has two strong beautiful blooms today. Here's a picture looking down on both.

And since it is the prettiest bloom in my yard today, here's a closer picture of Voodoo Magic.

Here's a new one for me....Blue Flags! Not very blue, more pinkish with some lavender overtones, but I guess for a tropical Hibiscus that's about as blue as they get!

Hey Karen,
You are right about Chartruse Rose, She took on a different look today than the other blooms I have seen. I still love the Voodoo Magic. My buds keep droping!!! But 1 day I'll have some beauties. Nice blue flags Ecrane. I really think my Blueberry Thrill should have been named that but I guess it was taken!!!

San Bernardino, CA(Zone 8b)

Your Voodoo Magic buds and my Time for Magic, grrrrrrr!

That Blue Flags is great :-)

Palm Bay, FL(Zone 9b)

Robert,
Love, love, love your Arcadian Spring! Cosmic looks quite beautiful too.
I had 2 blooms today, but mom slept over last night, so she kept me quite busy! (lol)
Now, onto Karens pics.l

Karen,
You know how I feel about Voodoo! She doesn't even have any buds right now. I lost one, but still have my other one. I love browns!

Liz, y
your new baby is so soft looking. I really like it.

Hanson, KY(Zone 6a)

Can anyone put a name to this one.
It's a oldie but in my opinion a beauty.
I know it is at least 25 to 30 years old.... if not older.
I don't know where I would go to try and find it's name....do you?
For some unknown reason it is having a second blooming this year...the worst year we have had that I can remember...with record high temps. and we are going thru a long drought.

Any guesses or comments would be much appreciated.

Your flowers are wonderful, Pizonne. Your Pride of Acadiana raised my blood pressure. :)
