what in the world?

what is the stuff in the area near the bases of the leaves on my plumeria? is it good or bad or should i even care about it?

I couldn't tell you though I would guess some sort of parasitic something or other. I am just impressed with the pic. You really zoomed in on that one. The more informed replies will probably chime in after the holiday weekend.

Diehrd, nothing to worry about at all. All mine have the same thing and I haven't had any insect or disease problems so........ you can chill.

The 8" rains we just had knocked off all my flowers. Thankfully there are stil many,many buds.

It's normal. You will see all sorts of white, black, or tan stuff there. Don't be concerned about it. It's harmless.

sigh of relief... good i havent even gotten one bloom from a plumeria, so i would hatet to lose it!
