I was so afraid they wouldn't come back this fall! DH was actually the one that spotted them first. I couldn't even get the pictures right because they were swooping from flower to flower...very hungry and did not want me to get near them. I think it's a male and female...I will be looking for eggs!

I forget that there are "two-tailed" so I went to look at some of my pics to see, just in case. Just one for me.
Guess you can tell that these guys are my favorites! I'll be checking the Hop Trees...that's what they use here.

My own hop trees are pretty small...they're easily checked. But there's one across the street that is a problem to check because it's taller, so I check just what I can do...I'm much too old to climb trees or anything, right? I run into that problem more with the black cherry trees...they can get pretty tall, so I just check what I can reach.
Those are beauties Linda. Congrats. I would love to see those swooping through my backyard.
