I am probably not the only one that thought of this.. but I take a LOT of pics of my babiez and ran out of names for each one... so as to find it easier when I wanna download.,etc.
I started doing this for first blooms on a seedling..
B1 - B2 - B3
This would be Bloom one, bloom two, etc..
For established brugs..
F1 - F2 etc. = Flush #1
D1 -D2 - D3 = Day 1 Day 2
Here is the file name for bloom #1 on the 3rd day shot taken from below..

Is this making sense to anyone beside me? LOL
New method for naming pics
Nope.
I'm just kidding! Actually it's quite clever! Thanks!
Good idea. It would help keeping all of them organized thats for sure.
I'm exhausted just thinking about it, ZZ. :)

LOL @ Teresa! Too funny!
Well, the reason I did this is cause this year's pics are in some of the same folders as last year.... I had to be able to identify it by name.. When seedlings start blooming, I guess I am a little to trigger happy with the camera!
The difference in your record keeping method and mine, ZZ, is the full history of each seedling you grow is captured in photos. I started way too many seedlings this first year, so my system is compost it if it is a white single. Period. There are so many seedlings around here, my sweetheart referred to our rear garden as a maze yesterday. I've had 2 sdlgs. to bloom and and I felt almost relief to be able to toss them.

I can relate to that Tussee! I am doing the same thing, but with photos of their growth in case it's a good one, so I have record of growth rates, problems, etc... I've tossed 5 big ones so far and I was so glad to get the pots! LOL Around here, they are calling me "Jungle Jane" I have OJS.... Overgrown Jungle Syndrome...
I think I enjoy takin pics as much as growing them! Always in search of that perfect brug pic.. so I can paint it. :)
I think ZZ's method is very clever. Thanks for sharing! ;-)
If I were to paint a picture of a brug., I would have to tell you what it is supposed to be. My brother is the artist in my family while I have shown zero talents in anything. I've learned to live with it....
