My Miss Caylie x Genevieve's bud split a bit and I helped it along.
It's being BORN! (Thanks for your support ZZ)
I'm a Midwife!
Oh my GAWD... this is what we have been waiting for.. I am so happy! Look at the tendrils! Did it make baby sounds? LOL They will sound like they are creaking sometimes when you lay em in your hand to look... I love that. Congratulations Teresa! I can't wait for color!
It was coo-ing a bit when it was born. Mentioned something about me starting its College fund! Kind of a demanding little baby.
Oh YA! Its got long tendrils... that's for sure! I can't wait for tomorrow. Dunno how well I'll sleep tonight!
Theresa, that is a super cool picture!
Teresa, that is a cool pic! Congrats! There'll be NO sleeping tonight! That little momma brug might need some help! How exciting! Be sure to keep the camera handy, we wanna see, too! I've been babying an Alex since last Fall, (kept it growing in my living quarters all winter, nursed it through 2 bouts of spider mite this spring/summer, and nary a bud in sight)... we sure have to learn patience, don't we?
LOL Patience is a virtue that I'm not sure I have! ;-)
Hehehehe, I can't wait!
Teresa - in BC, you are getting a patience lesson, now! lol, It's trying, pushing,pushing... it won't be long now! Any guesses on color?
Looking good. Waiting patiently for the next picture installment.
Is that color I see? I love this
Impatiently waiting.. pacing the floor in the "waiting room" here Lady!
I hope we see more of it's color today. One thing about brug babies, no 2 a.m. feedings.. lol BUT, I have rescued young plants from windstorms in the middle of the night!
Ooooooooooooooooooooooh - pretty pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great shots of your Brug, Teresa!!!! I can't wait to see it all stretched out!!
Wow.. it has come out more though! I'm so glad to see today's progress!
hey.. at least that is better than my "okras"!

She is acting like a double. Taking her own sweet time.
Yup.....
am I seeing a shadow of a second skirt under the first one???
AND... isn't that 6 points? We have a beautiful baby Teresa! LOL We... LOL
nice long tendrils
Congrats. Another day or two and she should be open wide. Can't wait to see her then.
This is sooo fun! She is so pretty! I bet she is gonna have a really nice shape.. look how big that skirt is! I'm so jazzed.
Teresa way to go!! Are you handing out chocolate cigars....lol?? Do you think it's going to be a double? If so, than I'm going to be very jealous..lol. I have only one brug blooming.
:) Donna
PG, it's definitely AT LEAST a double. She's still really firm and packed inside! If it was a triple, I wouldn't be surprised, but I'd be EXTREMELY pleased!
argh... it takes so long to get from when they first come through the calyx til they are actually open and their full color! lol.. Definately a double at least! How exciting!
Well than, I'm definitely jealous...lol!
:) Donna
Congratulations! Well done.
Erick
Guess what???? Officially, as at around 5:30 - IT HAS SCENT! Smells kind of like a lily.
OH, Teresa! How LOVELY! Congrats! The bloom---- so delicate and graceful, yet, strong and confident! I like it......keep the pics, coming!
We want more pics...
Congrats!!! Can`t wait to see it open all the way.
She is nicely shaped, and looks like a creamy color on my monitor. She is pretty. :)
With white being the dominant color in brugmansia, I won't be surprised if she remains this color or close to it. You did a great job raising her to bloom. Congrats on your new double.
if it smells like a lily and stays white, it could be an easter lily brug!
