I am not sure about what types. I am hoping that my expert DG gardeners will let me know what types to use and have some extra seed (or share where I can buy them).
I need a cover crop that will thrive in the cold winter months.
Thanks in advance, gardening family.

wanted: cover crop seeds
If you don't get any information here, check with your local county co-op. If you have one in your area they will know what to sell you and will probably have the seed which will cost less than postage. For 80 cents, I got enough Kale seeds to plant an acre.

Thanks, Aunt Judy! (Bet you don't remember why I am calling you that, do you?) :o) I will check with my coop.
Nope, don't remember why!! Refresh my memory, please??

Because my most favorite aunt in the world is named Judy. A while back, I started a thread about my grandmother and some things I was going through and you were one of the people that encouraged me. My grandmother's daughter is Judy. So I dubbed you my e-aunt!
I hope you don't mind.....
I hope people will forgive us for being off topic ... but it was so funny when you called me Aunt Judy.
I don't have any children therefore I've spent a lot of time with other people's children, mainly females. There are many, many children who are now adults, that called me Aunt Judy. I was the State of Tennessee's first single foster parent and worked as a volunteer with troubled teenagers and as a lay counselor with SCAN, an anti-abuse organization. The first thing I thought was "is one of my girls now in MD?". lol lol
Hug those two happy looking children of yours for me. You might want to introduce them to Peanut Butter Cookie at www.peanutbulldog.com "Stories of a little English Bulldog puppy growing up and the mischief that he get into". Encouraged by me, my DH wrote the stories for children of all ages.
