Makshi: I'm sorry .... I just saw on the first thread where you said you had gone over the limit for edits for the day. I didn't even know there was a limit to how many times we could edit our post.

By the way .... I love that little picture of the dice at the top! That is so cute! With Bingo, it is a roll of the dice isn't it? Last months game was so much fun and this one is gonna be even better ... that is so creative to use AV's/Gessie's with the names of the players! I love it! I wish I was playing this time, but it will still be a blast to "watch" and join in on the chatting fun! Thank you so much for hosting again this month! You do a great job!

Good luck everyone! ..... I've gotten 3 people's cards so far!

Danville, VA(Zone 7a)

I hope I get to play this one instead of not even looking..LOL
Hugs,
Susan

Great Lin. Yes, I am miffed with myself for not knowing there was a limit. I am trying to do to many things at once. Well at least the tomatoes are done for now. I go to figure out something to do to everyone to make them work. If you come up with an idea dmail it to me.

(Zone 1)

hee hee .... Makshi ... I am so not good at trying to think of stuff like that! You did a wonderful job last game with keeping us on our toes. I will put my "thinking" cap on, though it doesn't look as cute as your hat in the last game, and probably doesn't work as well either. But, I will try to come up with something. I will d-mail you if I come up with any good ideas!

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

would you like to know when you have had too much rain all summer..............I posted elsewhere but here is the winner...............mushrooms growing in a desert plant (a bougainvillea).............................too funny.......in a basket that drains.....no less.

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

Yes I would say that is too much of a good thing.

We finally got some much needed rain here yesterday and a little more today! We need it!

That's cute .... you got lots of mushrooms in those plants Gail .... that does show how wet the soil is.

Hope that next storm TS Felix ..... soon to be Hurricane Felix. doesn't come your way or mine!

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

I haven't even heard of Felix.............better check accuweather.............

(Zone 1)

He's out there, way South ... just saw on t.v. that it is heading the way Dean did .... over to Mexico.

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

I just checked him out............yuck.........another one........

Fredericksburg, VA(Zone 7a)

My strep didn't make the pick list... 8(

Oh well... I can't pick my own name anyway...

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

Here is a picture of Strep 'Karen'

OK..........Lin...........I thought she was saying you couldn't choose your own name if you wanted.............thanks

Gail .... what Karen is saying is her's did not end up on the call list of 33 at the top of the thread.

Fredericksburg, VA(Zone 7a)

As far as choosing your own name to add to your 15 picks... that was makshi's rule, not mine. She said you could not put your own pick on your bingo call list.

Fredericksburg, VA(Zone 7a)

Thank you Lin...

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

Karen so sorry. You are now on the list and I hope some people pick her.

If I keep going I am going to hurt everyones feelings.

(Zone 1)

That Strep 'Karen' is another Beauty! Some day I am going to try growing Strep's again!

The one I've seen someone post photo's of before called 'Spiritual Corridor' is my all time favorite but there are soooo many gorgeous ones out there! Why do there have to be so many pretty plants in the Gessie family?! I really, really need a greenhouse .... or two!

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

I am out of room and would love to have a greenhouse. My kids are always asking what the use is to have so many plants.

(Zone 1)

Just tell them it's your Therapy! That's how I feel!

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

Hello guys. What are some of your favorite places to get AV and other plants as well as supplies?

Fredericksburg, VA(Zone 7a)

Hadn't been on all day... Thanks makshi, for adding me... no hurt feelings here... it's alot to keep up with! But thanks for adding me!

I like your question... gotta go out for a bit, but I'll answer this evening.

Also, besides therapy... tell your kids the plants actually help to lower your blood pressure, regulate your heart rate, and reduce stress. I'm sure they are always looking out for your health... and those things are true! It's why many nursing care facilities are adding indoor gardens into their floor plans now.

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

Makshi................I just got home from the beach with my grandchildren and their parents............hurt all over (LOL)...............Nana swam and played beach football for over 3 hours............need a nap.........but I do have my favorite places to order supplies from.............think I will try and unwind .............be back later and list them or dmail them to you.....................

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

Heya, Makshi... I flipped back to the old thread to see what somebody's pick was... and I noticed that bmedal's "Brenda" doesn't seem to have made the list... Did she choose a different named plant?

Is the list finalized now so we should start sending in our cards?

(Zone 1)

I've gottent 5 out of the 22 cards so far so send it on to me if you are ready Critter!

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

This starts tomorrow gals....................get them in!!!!

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

Jill Brenda picked a diff. Victorian Ribbons. I think it is final.

(Zone 1)

Welcome Ccino42/Dawna from Drumheller, Alberta Canada to the game!

I've gotten cards from 12 people so far. We have 23 playing so far! This should be a great game!

You've got until midnight Eastern time tomorrow (Tuesday) to get your cards d-mailed to me, so have fun making those choices!

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

Oh, cool! 'Victorian Ribbons' is stunning. Thanks for realizing I wasn't trying to be picky... just didn't want somebody to have been missed! :-)

My brother's family just drove off again after a fun weekend visit. I need to look up all those pretties before I make my choices!

Mid, ID(Zone 3b)

I would have loved to have my named violet on the list but I couldn't find a picture of it anywhere. Gail found the official description of the First Class CD's but no picture. I went back for 23 pages on a google search with anything with Brenda and African Violet in it and although I found a couple of references to it there was never a picture. If anyone ever comes across the picture please think of me and send it on!!

In the meantime I picked Victorian Ribbons as it was the African Violet that led me to the whole gessie family and I love it for that reason and the fact that is is gorgeous!!

(Zone 1)

Wow! Brenda, that is a Beauty! Is that what's considered a Chimera?

Mid, ID(Zone 3b)

Yes Lin it is a chimera. Of course I had to pick something a bit more exotic for my first ever AV! LOL

~Brenda

(Zone 1)

Well ... it is Exotically Beautiful!

Danville, VA(Zone 7a)
