I have none. These just popped up behind the deck my husband built a few months ago.
Any special kind of EE here? ID please
looks like this one: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/2218/
It'll grow like crazy in FL. Mine's nearly 5 feet tall now.
Anyone else have a clue?
I think it looks like a Xanth. Sag. too.

Is it okay for me to let the EE grow behind my deck? There is about 14 inches front to back . Or will it be a problem?
My sag. gets pretty large- like 4 feet wide. But I don't think that the roots or stems are strong enough to hurt the deck. So it might be OK to leave it.
But I want to defer to someone who lives in FL, where I think they get more robust than here in OH.

You have a lovely deck!
If you like it, dig it up and move it somewhere else. I think it's going to get big enough to put some pressure on that lattice. I also think as it gets larger, the leaves will get stuck in the lattice and get ripped and not look attractive.
As Rox said, they get pretty large in Ohio. You have a few zones on us. LOL
So guess what! I looked over the back fence and my "neighbors" are growing 3, yes 3 NOXIOUS WEEDS as garden decor....
I am going to offer to buy them NICE vines and EE. I don't want air potatoe vines, those WEED EE's and Bitter Melon vine growing back there. And it keeps trying totake over my DECK!!! GRRRRRRR........
