Ideas needed

La Salle, MI(Zone 5b)

I need a little bit of help. I am getting a new cedar greenhouse here shortly, the foundation is laid and ready for it. I have tried to outline the design on a picture to the design of the new area to the best of my ability lol... The patio chairs are setting where the greenhouse will be going. I have leaf shaped stepping stones and pea gravel that I will be using for the walk way from the driveway to the patio and going to the green house and then from the patio to the swing. The only plants that will not be moved are marked in red. The design is marked in yellow. The plants you see at the edge of the patio are going to be moved to new locations. The 3 that are going to stay, butterfly bush by the water hose (water hose is going to be moved.) then I have a Anise Hyssop that will be staying where it is and a dwarf Korean Lilac that will be behind the greenhouse. dh moved it last year to where it is now and I thought we would lose it, but it is doing good, don't really want to take the chance on moving it again.

The grill you see in photo is going to be moved and placed where the daylily is. The green greenhouse is staying where it is. (Hopefully to be used as a cold frame?)

Anyway, dh is going to buy a fountain to sit up by the new gh. I am not a shrub person *sorry* but I would like some ideas on perennial plants for my zone 5 that are fragrant and will draw the hummingbirds & butterflies :o) I was going to do a herb garden next to the greenhouse but changed my mind.

Any and all advice is appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Connie
