I need help with what to give a silkie chicken for wry-neck. She just showed the first syptoms. Is it spreadable.

Silkie pullet with wry-neck
I am new here and just read another post about wry neck in silkies. I have my very first flock of chicks and two of them are silkies, one I think is a frizzle silkie. But Pearl, my white silkie is about 1-2 weeks old and shakes her head alot. Is this what wry neck is? Is it contagious. Now I am really scared. Can't wait for someone to respond with advice!! I think BackyardHens had the same problem with her silkie chicken. If I remember she gave it some vitamin E. I doubt it's contagious, it's just a deficiency.

yeah, take a look at the past threads. I will see if I can dig it up for you. It doesn't spread.
Well, the threads should tell you what you need to know, so check those out. We saved Sahara with a very high vitamin E diet for about 2 weeks, and isolation. I giver her a little extra e every once in a while even now, although you'd never know she was sick these days!
