I've got a couple of first time bloomers today.
First is Lady in Waiting. I had seen this cultivar a number of times on the HVH website and my mom was just in love with it, so I bought her one for her birthday. Then I saw the bloom in person! Much prettier than the picture I think. Anyway, I picked this up at the last open house, and I think it's real pretty.
This second one is Suede Buttons. I had purchased this one as an extremely small 4" at a fall open house, and lost it over the winter. So glad I decided to try again. For a first bloom, the eye zone is quite unique. It's got two more small buds (and it's still a pretty small plant), so I'll be anxious to see the next set of blooms :-)

Oh my Karen. Lady in Waiting is waiting to come home with me. I can't wait for next year to get more of these.

Lady in Waiting is beatiful...I just ordered one of those from HVH and it arrived today, hope it'll bloom for me soon!

My lady in waiting is still pretty young. Bought her in a 4 inch last month, but now that I know what the blooms really look like, I am in bliss!

Lady in Waiting has the frills and color I so admire...I am ordering one now. I knew not to hang around in this forum. Too many beauties to pass up.
