Too Many Humminbirds Part 2

New Iberia, LA(Zone 9a)

I want to start part 2 for today's pictures of hummingbirds. :o)

I had to make fresh sugar/water for them today, filled up again. Few already empty due many hummers. I was sitting on lawnchair under patio with my camera (canon 30D). I captured few good pictures... want to share with yall.

This happened while I was sitting on chair.. looked at my banana plants and notice female hummingbird was sitting on metal stand. I captured it perfect thru the banana plants.

Can you count how many hummers in picture? Sorry it's dark, I was inside the house and flash would block the view due glass.

Wow - those are impressive. Do you find that they visit the feeders at approx. the same times each day? If so, what is the pattern that you've noticed? I have only ever noticed one at a time here, but he usually shows up around 7am, minimally ...

Those are such awesome pics again. You are one lucky gal. I count six on the last picture. And I am thinking that feeder is attached to your window? I would never think that those would work but yours sure does. In the last pic it looks like one of the hummers is looking in the window at you. So cool. Thanks for the great shots and the first picture is simply stunning.

Yes.. They show up around at 6:30am and stay around thru the day. More hummers around at between 6:30 to 11am and 3 pm until dark.

One of each hummer sit on 7 feeder to protect. LOL so I know it's 7! Others just come and go. I guess they like the feeders under the shade to keep the nectar cool.

Oh, thank you. That's a big help.
