I went out today and there was a swarm of bees on the sawleaf daisies. Had to show this pic:

TT, yes it's nice to see the little honey bees! Seems like all I've seen lately is the occaisional bumble bee.
Josephine, they are gorgeous in their groupings with some down low and some up high. It's nice to know we'll be adding a favorite of the bees next year.

Hey, I've got honey bees this way too....took a photo of this wee one on my Flame Sumac the other day... Sad to see their numbers down....

No, that is a clipping I did just propped in a pot to take the picture. I was hunting seeds from a wild Milkweed and came across them. I did get a few seeds from a dry plant though.
Looks like a nice one to have with the 4 nerve.Save seeds for me too please. Does it bloom all summer?
Actually, it's only been in bloom for about 4 weeks, now. I'll put you on the list, bananna!
