I went out today and there was a swarm of bees on the sawleaf daisies. Had to show this pic:
Bees Love the Sawleaf Daisies!
Nice photo, bronc....tis good to see bees out and about.... :)
Melanie
Those are so pretty, aren't they?
TT, yes it's nice to see the little honey bees! Seems like all I've seen lately is the occaisional bumble bee.
Josephine, they are gorgeous in their groupings with some down low and some up high. It's nice to know we'll be adding a favorite of the bees next year.
lol bronc, I got nosy and peeked at your member page (always curious about other DG'rs). Is that Cherry Cobbler a-la-mode you're enjoying there? haha.... ;)
Melanie
Haha! No, Melanie, it's Dewberry Cobbler a la mode! My wife made it and it was delicious!
Yes, Melanie, it is very sad. I don't think we realize how sad, yet. But if we can get more people to go organic, I think we could see a major comeback.
Absolutely!!!
Yes Sheila, i believe it is.
Seeds, please.....
:~)
I'll be bringin' plenty of seeds to the swap.
Seeds for me, too, please. :-)
Carla
Sheila, are you trying to root the sawleaf daisies?
Ok, Carla!
I guess I should put these on my have list, huh?
No, that is a clipping I did just propped in a pot to take the picture. I was hunting seeds from a wild Milkweed and came across them. I did get a few seeds from a dry plant though.
Looks like a nice one to have with the 4 nerve.Save seeds for me too please. Does it bloom all summer?
Actually, it's only been in bloom for about 4 weeks, now. I'll put you on the list, bananna!
Thanks Broncho,I also like the idea of encouraging bees.
