I have two dogs - Zeus, who is half mini-dachshund, and the other half, allegedly Shiz tzu - I think he's got about as much Shih tzu in him as Izzie does, myself, but who knows with a mix? Notice the condition of the tennis ball in this photo, that took maybe 15 minutes to accomplish:
