Here she is ...her first bloom and even with all our heat!

Rainbow #17
Gorgeous! Love that deep orange center!
I love the colours! Very lovely!
Ditto - those colors are to die for. Is that magenta or a deep rose on the edge?
I'l have to check in the Am on the color of the edges. It has a lot more buds yet to flower.

Kaperc,
The edge color is a very dark maroon. I just put it into a larger pot. It sure is a beauty. It's from Matt at 1 stop aloha.

Hi Mickey: I just came back from Hawaii (my dad pasted away) and I was thinking about you. I had that plumeria in my back yard and it's a real good bloomer, the flower color does fade after awhile but it really makes a fragrant lei. If you have enough to make a double lei, it is gorgeous.

Thanks, Mickey.
Loren,
Hi, I'm sorry to hear about the death of your father. How is your seedling doing? I sure hope that you at least got a cutting of the plumeria while you were there! Did you get a picture of the flower?
I wish you could see all my plants. I do have a few and keep getting more. I now have a big project moving up a lot of my one gallon plants to 5 gallons.
I just got a Makaha Sun. That is the flower that Danny K won his ribbon with at the San DIiego plumeria show. I put that baby is a 15 gallon pot. It seems like all I do is go to the nursery for supplies. Today I just picked up 10 bags of pumice and a 20 pound bad of bone meal. Soil will be in the next few days.
With all the flooding we have had here this summer we had to buy another larger tractor. That comes tomorrow.
Next year I will be putting all my plumeria in their pots and in to the ground. I'll sent pictures.
Take Care,
Mickey
