Bulb Swap 07 Sept. 1st-Oct. 10th...

Marine City, MI(Zone 5a)

ts nearing that time again! Can you believe we have been doing this for 4 years now.

Time for the BULB SWAP!
Here's what you do and how it works.
You will receive an assortment according to how many gardeners participate.
All participants send their bulbs to me, along with the amount of postage that it costs to send your package. This is used for your return postage.
I divide up all the bulbs and send them to you. Pretty easy huh!
The amount of postage will cover sending bulbs back to you, and I will reuse your box to send back to you if possible.
All sorts of bulbs, hardy and non hardy are ok. Rhizomes/corms/etc accepted too. You can also purchase new bulbs to use for the swap.
When you send your bulbs please label them and include the type of bulbs you would really like to receive. I will try to match up as best as possible.

Frequent Q&A.
Great idea! I would like to participate by postal mail. This is my first time and I am pretty new to this. I am curious to the size of box I should send and the types of bulbs that are acceptable and what quantity?
*Any size box is fine. From just a few bulbs to a flat rate box. All types of bulbs are acceptable, hardy and tender. I have a ton of day lilies, iris's, tulips. Are these acceptable? Yes, all are acceptable. What is the most effective way to pack them? I have found that paper lunch bags work great. You can write on the bag what the bulbs are! Thanks for the great way to beautify our gardens You're welcome.

You can start sending bulbs between Sept 1 and Oct 10. Oct. 15th all bulbs must be here. I will send them out as quickly as possible and all will be in the mail by Oct. 22nd.
