Is anyone growing these tpye's of bulbs

Hi is there any one growing ferraria's, Morea's, and Calochortus? If so do you have them in the ground or in pots?

Marie, I grow the calochortus and the morea. The calochortus is in ground in a bed that doesn't get summer water since that is their dormant period and the morea is in a pot because it is not completely hardy for me. I don't have any ferraria, but I've always wanted to try them. I just love wierd looking plants. I would assume that since it has a summer dormancy also, it might benefit from no summer water.

Thanks for your input Jess. I think I am going to have to buils up a small raised bed somewhere. I want everything close by the house where I can keep an eye on them but have pretty much used up all that space!!
