ok here's my delima, i know you guy's have probably discussed this before much like you have my other unanswered questions. but, i'm askin anyway. i recently introduced a rir cockling into my flock of banties. now momma hen is attacking one of her own. is this do to over crowding? i have 9 banties and 1 rir. my coop and run is7 ft 11 in long 4 ft 1/2 in on the high end 2 ft on the low. how much more space do i need?

Is the momma a bantam....or the rir? My guess it's just everybody re-establishing "chain of command".......but someone else probably has a better idea....

I agree...I think they will always have to re-establish the pecking order. I would try introducing new members slowly by keeping them in their own cage at a distance, and move them closer each day. After they are find with the cage next to each other then they should be fine.
