I just wanted to pop in and let ya all know I really enjoyed looking at the pictures and reading the posts.
I ended up a lil sad but I did get a chuckle out of some of the pictures and posts.
We moved to Texas in July and I started work the 11th and in staying with my oldest I couldn't have her I the apartment so with the move we left our dog back with my folks and I gave my cockatiel to a single older lady at work (who is thrilled to have him) in Illinois.
Being she is older (my son's teeny tiny puppy when he was 4 and he is now 18) I couldn't' bear to bring her with me and put her in a kennel until we got into the house. She has never stayed any place then at home or with my folks.
It just doesn't feel like home yet without her here and I suppose with the heat and cleaning up the place it is best she stay with them until they can bring her down in December....
which brings me to the talk of the new pet forum I think the ideas I read there are great for all animal lovers and a list of places that take pets while traveling is great I could use that for my folks when they drive down with her.
But thanks for all the posts it brightened my day.
