Form fillable PDF

Does anyone know if there is a way to save a form fillable PDF with the form filled in? All I can do is save the form in its blank state.
We are attempting to create a form fillable PDF to be sent to the many speakers we are having attend a conference, but when we test the form by filling it in, there is no way to email it or save it. It says you have to print it out. And that would mean regular mailing and we are trying NOT to use snail mail. We want them to be able to fill it out and email it back.
