My cat can't seem to figure out how to drink out of a bowl. He loves running water, acts like he wants to drink or even get it, but he won't even drink from it. He'll just watch it. He wants fresh water every day. We have a new water cooler and he's started standing up sticking his nose in the spout. He just can't seem to FIND the water in his bowl without being afraid he's going to stick his whole face in it. My mother suggested maybe a drop of food coloring would help him see it. Would this hurt him?
