Photos of new "kids"
Awwwwe ........... they are so sweet. You must be having a great time with them. Their little faces are adorable. We have puppies due next month and they should be small like that.
Bea
Wonderful. I'd LOVE another kitten-cat, but DH says "NO"; so I have to admire from afar.
Are you keeping them or are they shortly going to new homes?
Actually, they are in another home right now and we're taking them home with us on Thursday - just shy of their 8 week birthday on Saturday. Here's the story.
Their mother is really just a kitten herself - probably about 8 or 9 months old. She got out on her owners one day and came home pregnant a while later. I'm told they then put her out :-(
A neighbour took her in and we offered to take two of the kittens. We always take two when we get kittens or puppies so they are company for one another, but Misty only had three kittens. So, we decided to take all three so there wouldn't be one left all by themselves.
The lady who took Misty in plans on keeping her, so everyone has a nice home now :-)

Happy ending. But can you imagine people putting out a teenager for doing what comes naturally? How sad. Those people should be barred from having pets for life.
Too right!
Oh Ginny, they're so adorable! How sweet that you gave them all a happy home.
Joanne
Cute.
Ginny aka inanda
The one of the three of them on the wicker chair could be on a calendar!
Sandy
Thanks Joanne and Ginny. Who could look at those faces and not want to keep them safe? You're right about putting that photo on a calendar Sandy. That would be perfect!

Ginny, I loved your photographs of the kittens and I am so happy you took all three. They will be a delight for you for many years to come. I simply can't understand why Misty's original owner wanted to get rid of her. Poor thing only did what comes naturally. If she didn't want the responsibility of kittens she should have had Misty spayed. I am so glad that Misty is now with people who will appreciate her even if she does have another litter of kittens. This story had a happy ending all around. Thank you for sharing it and the 'baby' pictures with us.
Phil
You're welcome Phil. Thanks for the kind words - I'll be sure to pass them on to Misty's new mom too :-)

More new pics. http://davesgarden.com/community/blogs/t/ginnylynn/7115/ Have they ever grown in just two short weeks!

Ginny, you are so lucky. Three!!! to cuddle and play with. I'm jealous. They are growing fast, beautiful.
B
lol, I was expecting human triplets.
They are so sweet and cuddly. I'd love to have another kitten but my Spunky is going on for 17 years old, so not right now.
I am indeed lucky Brenda. All three are very affectionate and cuddly - that is, when they're not terrorizing the whole household :-)
LOL Saints preserve me Joan! I'm well past being able to deal with one human baby, let alone triplets! Spunky must be very well cared for to be living to such a ripe old age. You must be a very good kitty mommy.
Bea - are you out there? Did your puppies arrive yet?

Hi Ginny
I am here! I haven't been around much this summer as we did a lot of camping trips. Had a great time touring the Oregon coast.
Puppies yes we had triplets too. They are four days old and mom has hardly left the box. She has them all cuddled so close we hardly ever get to see them. I can't wait until they open their eyes so we can see their faces with them looking back at this great big world. I will post a photo here when they are just a bit bigger, if it is OK not meaning to hijack your thread.
Bea
Can't wait to see your babies, Bea. Really do love your dogs. I'm not really a kitty person but do think often about getting a dog. Just as long as WJet lets you take your dog on the same flight, unlike the other -not-to-be-mentioned airline.
the other Ginny
Please do post the pics here Bea. We'd all love to see them. They must be just adorable!
