Hoya sp. from Irian Jaya

I received this hoya last week and am so anxious to see what it is that I have. I'll have to wait until it blooms:-(.

Yes...looks very interesting. Where did you get it??? Can you trust the label?

Sistah K the leaves are about as large as my hand. Tami uh I don't think this is the cutting you sent me:-). Carol until it flowas I trust the label and I received it from someone outside of the states.

Awanda...if you got your H. sp. Irian Jaya from someone you trust, then I would assume that it is H. sp. Irian Jaya....which means that it is a species hoya (not a cultivar) either not identified yet OR never identified and that it comes from Irian Jaya. Hoyas are given those species names to identify them as from whence it comes...and if there is an ID on it as another named species, that name is given to it.
