Shipping Episcia stolons

Nottingham, MD(Zone 7a)

I can't remember how these were shipped to me in the past. Do I just place the dry stolon in a puffed up ziploc bag? Or should I wrap it in damp LF spag. and then inside aluminum foil? Help! LOL

Thanks much,
GH

If you have enough of a stem, I would put a little piece of damp paper towel around the stem with a rubber band or some foil............then put it in a baggie of some kind............then the foliage does not dehydrate so badly.............and quickly...........

I got a stolon in the mail...was in the mail for 8 days!!! Just was stuck in a baggie loose with a bit of air...came through fine. Either way would work.

Thanks Ladies, I'm shipping to Texas and I don't want the stolon to be mushy or rotted from giving it too much moisture in this terrible heat!

that could be true, also...............
