I found my very first seed pod today from hoya polystachyia (sp)! It had opened, but didn't appear it had been opened that long! I was able to retrieve a lot of seeds and am hoping they will now grow!!

High five, you lucky Girl.. :) Keep us updated
GREAT! Gotta count how many girls and how many boys!!!
That is awesome, Sister Awanda! We will look forward to your progress report from the Hoya nursery.
Was there any other hoya in bloom nearby? If so it could be a cross, or if not, self pollinated.
Carol
Thanks all, I was so excited since it was my very first one. Carol it was the only one in bloom.

Awanda
Wow, how lucky that you were able to get some of the seeds before they were all gone. It is sort of funny how things seem to happen when you just aren't looking!! Ha!
Sara
OH Awanda, how wonderful. Please keep us updated as how they do. Mary

Looking good Awanda.
Isn't it a kick finding an actual seed pod for the first time. I couldn't believe it. Looks like yours are doing fine Awanda. Mine are still growing too. I have no idea what to do with them after I pot them up. Ha.
Marcy
Marcy it really is exciting when you get your first seed pod. I didn't even see the pod, just the seeds when they had opened. I have a total of 14 seedlings growing and they all are looking good!
Blessings,
Awanda
