Hi Michigan Forum!
I'm located in Farmington Hills, MI. I love gardening, veggies and flowers. Just beginning to learn about trees and how to take care of them. I haven't planted a veggie garden in two years, though, because of groundhogs! I HATE them and I can't get rid of them. Anyway, I'm glad to see there's a Michigan Forum.

You are really going to enjoy DG, I think it was the best investment I made. I have met some terrific ppl on here and so many more have been really helpful. We got 2 ground hogs that built there home under our wood pile out back, don't know if they are still there or not, haven't seen them in a while.
Dori, Ken usually shoots them too.
Man these storms have really did a number on all my plants, most are laying flat on the ground. I cut most of my cosmos back yesterday before it got so hot and muggy. Got them in a box in the garage to dry, got to send a few ppl some seeds.

I used to live downstate in Garden City. We moved to AuGres a few years ago. Hubby is retiring at the end of this year. I love flowers and now love to plant trees. I grew my first big veggie garden last year. Need tomatoes? Come on up!!
I'm sure I've got those critters you hate. My biggest challenge is the deer and rabbits. For smaller varmits I have a snake in my flower bed that takes care of the mice and other little guys. I named him Scooter. I read once years ago if you can hook a hose up to your car exhaust and put the hose down into their tunnel and run the car it will exfixiate them with carbon monixide. Not sure how effective it is.
