Ann,dear Miss Kitty!!! I saved the best for last!! I see what you mean now about those leaves.

This is sp. aff. latifolia 1590

When I first saw those leaves it reminded me of that song by the Divinyls "I touch myself" so what did I do, I found myself fondling the leaves just as you say that you do when you enter the room yours is in. Didn't do much for me though.Maybe I wasnt doing it right!!!!

For those of you who arent familiar with the song go to youtube and watch the video!!!!

H. thailandica is a very scare, very hard to come by,VERY expensive hoya and it'll have to be 100ft long before I cut it!!!

I dont know if i'm supposed to advertise openly on the forums where I got them, though I can tell you that it was from another forum member.

The moderators of the forums frown upon advertising of any vendors so I wont mention any names!!

Well shoot David, you ended the game before I got to guess!! I guessed correctly before I read your post saying you wouldn't go through with sending it on, so does that count?

Heeheehee I guess that just makes you a hoya tease.

I seeee.......
Better nip that rep in the bud, David. A Hoya tease is a bad one! I've been telling everyone where I get everything for years here on DG and no one slapped my mouse yet. But I know anyhoo.

Here is a photo of the flower of H. fusca I got from David Liddle (the photo is from David Liddle). There is another color form of it, however.

Okay Carol so you just made my day!!!! That fusca flowers is outstanding and I really cant wait to see mine bloom now!!! I had seen a pic of Thailandica in bloom before and kind of knew what to expect from it but the fusca I just couldnt and still cant seem to find any info on.

Thanks for that bloom pic,it's awesome!

Right now i'm too busy drooling over the pic of that H. fusca flower, after I dry my chin i'll go and caress those aff.latifolia leaves!!!

I took a measurement of the actual size of the leaves today when I opend the box if I remember correctly it was almost 9" long by 6" wide, it is now the largest leaved hoya that I have. Even bigger than glabra and that sucker has some huge leaves on it!!!

Macon, IL(Zone 5b)

A hoya tease who admits to caressing his own leaves??? This forum is getting really good!!

Beautiful haul, David! I'm soooo jealous!!!

Nice score David, they all look beautiful.

Karen, Miss Kitty admitted it first!!! I jumped on the wagon behind her!!

I'm not going to make a habit of it but when I first saw them I couldnt help but stroke them as I do recall Ann saying that she HAD to do it to hers every time she enters the room!!! Just wanted to see if I was getting the same sensation but it really didnt do anything for me!!
