Interested in nurseries that will guarantee no splash virus

Mission Viejo, CA(Zone 10a)

So, I've been here long enough to know this is a hot topic but I personally do not like the results of the splash virus and I know there are nurseries that agree with me. I think they look diseased (which they are). I want to make sure I do not introduce the splash virus into my collection (or at least make every attempt to make sure).

Locally, these nurseries supply plumerias. Does anyone have any knowledge if these nurseries are making every effort to prevent contamination?

Marilyn's Garden (I think it was Marilyn's which has "blue ribbon Plumerias" which are "special hybrids with larger, showier flowers."

Thanks!

I don't know about the ones you list but I know Florida Colors in Homestead, Florida (they do Mail order) are actively keeping the virus away.
I also do not like the virus effect.

Jackie, I doubt sincerely that those nurseries are taking steps to prevent the spread of the color-break virus. In fact, C-Stars sells "Lilac Splash," which is actually "Princess Victoria" that they renamed. I agree with Hetty that ordering from Florida Colors Nursery is a safe way to go as they do take steps to prevent its spread, and they do destroy infected plants.

Thanks Clare and Dutchlady (Hetty?). I've pretty much reached that conclusion. One of the plumeria growers I was looking at, Newport Plumerias, had some lovely plants but then I saw some splash varieties. A real shame as they are fairly close to me. Unfortunately, I've already brought home some C-star recently.

I think I may take them back. Everything else I have is at least three years old and I've not seen the signs in those.

You may not see the signs for a long time after you have it
I have a princess victoria that splashed only 1 time on 1 flower
All 3 years ive no sign of the virus but 1 dinky lil splash
The leaves look healthy as can be.
