#8 I got this last year from TessC. Her daughter was selling them for some org. and they had some left over and I got one. It was labeled 847, red with white spots, it was slow to bloom but in the last week I have had 2 to 3 blooms every day.

#13 braided trunk tree. It was a little slow about putting on a lot of blooms I would only have 2 or 3 a day. Then finally this week it has been going strong. 15 to 20 a day.

#14 This is the single trunk tree. I had to trim it back last fall in order to get it in the GH. I didn't think either one of my trees were going to put a show on like they did last year. But finally in the last week with the temp. in the triple digits they started. This one has between 20 and 30 blooms a day. Just regular watering, and weekly feeding of Peters 20-20-20.

#16 The last one I think. This is a picture of my Hibiscus rock garden, I think there is close to about 25 sitting in there. The last couple of days it has been really pretty. It keeps me busy dead heading blooms and picking off the yellow leaves. But when they reward you with beautiful blooms you just know it is all worth it.

The rain was a big help. It rained off and on Saturday evening and then Sunday morning until around noon. Nothing hard just the slow dizzle like rain. The kind that can do good.

Thanks for the compliments you have made me feel good. I know I enjoy the heck out of them.

The braided tree I got at Lowes three years ago. The single trunk I got from Dillon at the end of summer for a little of nothing. I was shopping and they had it outside about to die, and I asked the floral girl if they were going to reduce it. She said he hadn't heard anything from the company but if I wanted it I could have it for ??, it's been three years and I can't remember what I paid for it. But I think they were going for $50 or $60. And that could be high, the older I get the less I remember.

What was that, Linda? The older you get.....what? LOL I've seen some tree forms at our Dillons, they are s l o w l y croaking from neglect.... maybe I can snag one cheap.. I did have one last year, but lost it over winter...

yea just go in and ask if they are going to mark them down, because they are drying out there, and you know you could bring them around. When I got mine home the first thing I did to it was to mix some h202 and water and water the tree really good then the next day I transplanted it and waited a week then I fertilized it by only using half of the amount, then the following week I did the same thing. Then I started only doing it once a month regular strength.

Oh, my gosh, like I NEED another tropical hibiscus... but I'll ask about a discount... It wouldn't really count if it was discounted by at least 75%, right?

San Bernardino, CA(Zone 8b)

AuntB, you always NEED more hibiscus!!!

Glad to enable ;-)
