Tucson, AZ

walker created an album just for the caribbean plumeria. check out http://nwmangum.com/FrangipaniInTheWild/index.html to see them in the wild. the photos date back to 2003. however, there are some that we haven't seen before that paints a better picture of the growing conditions.

who wouldn't want one of these growing in there yard!

Absolutely, Dete. I will add it next time I update. I've saved the link to remind myself. Thanks for sharing this.

Pawling, NY(Zone 5b)

that is just cool looking.. If I saw it in the wild, I wouldn't have thought of it as a plumeria.. Would have thought it had similar flowers though.

Sunset Beach, NC(Zone 8a)

Interesting. Kinda' remind me of oleander.

Tucson, AZ(Zone 9a)

Wow, that is totally cool. And the caterpillar that is feasting on it is amazing as well. I wonder what it turns into???

Thanks for sharing!

Fredericksburg, VA(Zone 7a)

The caterpillar is a Tetrio Sphinx moth, whose host plant is frangipani.

See here... http://www.silkmoths.bizland.com/ptetrio.htm
