Have:
Many varieties of elephant ears, perennials (tell me a category and I'll send a list. For example, shade or sun, or purple flowered).
Also looking for Coreopsis.
Thanks, ROX

I only have one and it is small/medium sized. 4" pot size.
Ligularia dentata.
I can send you these and hit you up for something later :-) My mind really isn't in the 'plant mode' right now anyway with all of this heat lol
I am looking for some 4' blue grasses that can take part sun too.
What do you mean by blue grasses?
Did you mean 4 feet tall?
I know of 4 foot tall grasses, but the only blue grass is blue fescue (festuca) which is shorter.
I found a 'blue dune' at the nursery the other day and just figured there were other blue grasses out there it's the same color as the blue fescue but it gets 4' and drapes to the ground I haven't found it on the net yet been having computer trouble, I just need some grasses to shade my hosta but I'm wanting blue to go against a holly tree variegated would work but I don't want them to get 6', just need them to spread.
We can do a trade later and I can go ahead and send these, I have about 200 pots to get into the ground by fall so don't really need anything else right now. I was getting ready to put these in pots anyway and a few others in this bed they are in the weeds kind of took over and I need to get everything out of it. I'm going to have some cerastium tomentosum 'snow in summer' left over too don't know if it's deer resistant.
I'd love the Salvia Maynight {I hae the snow in summer, but thanks}.
Could you send it beg. Sept.?
I'll look for the blue grass.

Lea-
OK BUT REMIND ME. Please.
Question. Any interest in trying a perennial (hardy!) elephant ear?
Colocasia 'Pink China'. BWilliams has tested it in Kentucky for the last 5 years and it made it though my winter in Ohio last year.
Just a thought.

I just traded for an elephant ear lol I can't believe there is a perennial one for here, yes I would be interested! Thank you! lol Does it take sun shade?
I have mine in morning sun and dappled afternoon sun. I am growing it on a hill for better winter drainage.
Which EE did you get?
ROX
I have to look it up I'll b back it takes a while :-)
She said she thought it was one that started with an 'X' so I figure it's this one they get really huge. She sent me 5 pups I could share a couple with you if you want.
Forgot to put the link in it's been that kind of day lol

Just goes to z7
I have this Xanth. They can get really large and lush.
I have about 50 varieties of EE (Colocasia, Xanthosoma, Alocasia) that I bring it and out every year. It can get a little crazy!

I bet you have a greenhouse I sure wish I had one I may be able to over winter the elephant ears in my house I haven't much light at all I'm going to try being they are pups I doubt if they will grow enought to store them like bulbs what do you think? I really want these for next year!
I have almost 2 acres how much land do you have? Must be a lot! I'm starting to have trouble with deer now but the only plants they bother right now is the morning glories but I've been trying to get deer proof plants for the last two years cause I knew they were coming lol
The Xanths should overwinter as bareroot corms OK.
Pull them up before the 1st hard frost. Put them in the garage onthe floor or hang them up and let the leaves die. Cut off the leaves, store another week. Then store aobe freezing in the dark over the winter.
I have siz acres, about 1/2 acre is garden.
Deer are a HUGE menance here. 4 legged vermin!

Thanks I've never stored them before I've gotten them in the stores before and I just left them outside and covered with leaves they lasted three years that way lol
I just dug the salvias and I am not happy with them at all they don't look healthy enough to trade they seem to be rotting at the crown and I don't understand that we haven't had any rain this year to speak of, so thanks Rox but I can't send these plants the way they look. I sure hope you find some, I did manage to find a few seeds I'll mail them to you tomorrow.
