Amorphophophallus Konjac mutation??? Question

Linden, MI(Zone 5a)

I collected about 30 bulbs from my A Konjac last year when I put it to bed for the winter...I planted all of them this spring and I am getting some crazy results with the pups. I have 3 different leaf patterns and shapes/colors are different to...Some have skin like a toad with bright greens and whites and some are as dark as the rare Konjac "nitestick". The leaf pattern is my biggest stumper...I have some with the typical branches and some that are nothing but a huge leaf??? I am absolutely pos that they are all from the same 18 pound mom/bulb. Is this normal? I have googled and found nothing about this. I have several species of morphs but there is no way it could have crossed because they never bloomed at the same times. Crazy! Does anyone have an idea of why this is or if this is normal? Thanks!
I will post some pictures when I get home from work tonight.

I love konjac but haven't grown them enough to know about mutation. Didn't see such variation in a friend's crop...

In any event, you probably want to try the aroid forum - some knowledgeable folks over there.
