Chocolate Zuchini Cake using a Cake Mix?

Can't get to the store this week (no car available), but am craving a chocolate zuchini cake. I have all the ingredients to make a cake from scratch - except cocoa. I do have a chocolate cake mix. Wondering if it would be possible to doctor the cake mix with spices, and add zuchini. Anyone do this?
