Almost like I meant to do it

I'm just getting into the "multi plant" containers, so be gentle.

A couple of months ago, I took a spider plant 'Bonnie' pup and some leftover Impatiens and stuck them in my strawberry pot. The Impatiens had been sitting in water for a while and I had no idea what colors they were, so I whacked them off down to about 3" and hoped for the best.

They actually grew and bloomed! I'm surprised that the Bonnie is hanging in there (it's hiding under the Impatiens) but the mix of colors has impressed me -- almost like I planned it that way.

David

Very nice! I like that arrangement. Shhhhhhh, don't tell anyone you didn't plan it that way and they will never know. Gives me some ideas for next year.

David that is IMPRESSIVE! It's like the ugly duckling story..... and now the beautiful swan! Very nice!

By the way, don't mind my sour cream pot for the spider plant.....I use containers as I find them. :)

HAHAHA No one would have noticed had you not called attention to it. I've been known to use whatever is at hand also.

David,

Your arrangement looks gorgeous! I agree, don't tell anyone and they'll think you designed and planned it that way.
