A couple of days ago I was working in my yard and saw the shadow of a huge butterfly on my fence. He flew off but landed on my large Bottle Brush. It was a beautiful Giant butterflyand that was my first encounter with a Giant.
When I was on vacation in Fredericksburg, TX this past spring I took this photo. There were 2 Black Swallowtails on this one thistle.
