Maybe there is colour in Hell......all this in this TX heat!

Conroe, TX(Zone 8b)

I have been gardening for many years primarily in more edible landscape as my screen name belies, but for some reason the Hibiscus has always been a favourite of mine. Perhaps its that I am a bit impatient? I did have my very first Plumeria blooms this summer though, but take a look at this recent set of Hibiscus blooms in my garden. I really have been enjoying them in all this miserable Southeast Texas heat.

Oh I just love tomatoes too!! In fact you reminded me that I need to sign up for a heirloom tomato party that is coming up.

Your hibiscus is lovely. Too bad it is so hot where you are. I would hate that.

Beautiful pic, maniac! Isn't this heat yucky?? We get it here in San Bernardino too - that whole Hell thing sounds familiar...

Pretty hibiscus. Yellow shows up so well. We have the same weather thing going on in Iowa. Not much fun.
