Cage #3 has the Clouded and Orange-barred Sulphurs. I think this one is close to pupating - he's huge. I released one Clouded this morning.

Well, let's just say that Live Monarch has got a lot of my money over the last year or so.

But I love it!

WTG Terrie!!!

Thanks!

I had to start another cage this evening. I went out to cut some fresh Cassia for the Sulphurs and found 5 more little cats.

We have so many lizards here, and the occasional frog, so this is the only way to guarantee we have lots of butterflies in the area.

Not to mention the snakes, parasitoid wasps, assassin bugs, birds....did I leave anything out?

Terrie, where did you get the pop up hampers, is that what it is?

Does it work well?

Great job Terrie!

Fly-girl,

I buy the cages from http://www.livemonarch.com/store_enclosures.php. They are awesome. Not too expensive. I have 6 of the small ones and 4 of the large ones. I like them because they are all enclosed, no openings to worry about cats escaping. Plus they have one side that's a clear vinyl, and the zipper opens the whole side on the front. Makes it easy to clean out and put plants in and out.

And yes, I did forget about those other nasty flying creatures that love to make a meal of my sweet little caterpillars. ;+D

Yeah Terrie!
You forgot about them because you don't have them with such great cages. lol! Having the right cages helps tremendously. Nothing like getting off on the right foot!
