Mandarin Wind?

NE, KS(Zone 5b)

The tag says Mango Tango.... wrong ... not like mango tango's I've seen posted.... Very nice smallish plant with great blooms, dispite triple digit temps!

What a great picture you took there. So pretty. I doubt it is Mandarin Wind from looking at PlantFiles. http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/61013/

I have no personal knowledge so I am a bad one to discuss this one. But yours has a lot of white.

Their description:
"Bright orange, light pink band throat with red star-like eye."

Thanks, Kell. It is a Yoder tag, I think, I'll look again this evening.

Well, I don't think it's Mango Tango, but I'm not sure what it is except pretty!

I still think it's mandarin wind.. but doesn't really matter cause I just grow them for personal enjoyment. It's been a very good performer. - not finicky and great heat tolerance.

Oh, Kyle thanks, I hoped you'd confirm for me. Have any experience with the wind series? I have a yellow one that does not (or has not) bloomed nearly as well as this little guy.

Mandarin Winds is very pretty, AuntB.

That is very pretty, I hadn't seen that one although the nurseries around here carry a lot of Yoder plants.
