I have this on several of my plants.. It is not rust as I had that last year and is not the same... No bugs can be found so I am stumped to what this is... Any suggestions?

Susan, I have that on some of mine too. It is a natural occurrence with some cultivars. You will always find it on the leaves of cultivar 'Hurricane.' I have one cultivar, my pink trumpet, which has leaves which are covered in purple spots. It's not rust. It is harmless.
Thank you so much Clare... I have been picking leaves off and getting upset more and more by the day. I have several that have this... I don't have Hurricane, I am going to take the names of the ones that get this... I know one is a deep red from Evelyn... So I will tell ya later which ones...

In my opinion, Clare is right. And I don't think this is a sign of virus (on both leaves).
Susan, 'Hurricane' is a red also. It is nothing to be concerned about really.

Sure, you can. I don't remove them. I kinda like the purple dots! LOL! It gives the leaves some character. Here's a pink no-name one. A spider was making a nice web on it.

Here is one of my seedlings. I wonder if it will bloom red. I think there is a good chance that it will.

most of the ones I have this one are no names that came from Hawaii or from Thailand. There is a Banana Berry I think is its name that also has it... I wont pick the leaves off now that I know it is nothing to worry about... Thank you very much.

Oh while I was outside looking, look what I found :-) It does not have a name on it but it use to but I lost the tag so any help? I will take more pictures tomorrow as it opens more.

No I am not sure as it was one of the first ones I got when I started lastyear buying them. I have a tag outside but not sure who it goes to. I will post after work tomorrow...
