HAVE: Late-in-the season Pond Plants for Trade/Postage

Oakland, CA(Zone 10b)

Wow - where did the summer go?? I have a few weeks before school starts again, and I want to squeeze in a little bit of trading if I can. The garden has gone on without me, so I find myself with lots of some stuff, and other things that have died . . .
On the abundant side, I have Water Lettuce, Water Hyacinth, Fairy Moss, Duckweed, Pennywort, Water Primrose, Horsetail Rush, Parrots Feather and Papyrus. I can do a selection of any/all of these in a USPS Flat Rate box, but keep in mind I'll have to cut back the Horsetail and Papyrus to fit. Postage can be sent to me via PayPal. Let me know if you're interested in any of these.

If you'd like to trade for pond plants, I'm always looking for brugs, water plants I don't have, Lotus seeds, and just plain weird stuff. Oh, who am I kidding? I love it ALL! Thanks --

It sounds like you have a great assortment of water plants, Chris. I have some lovely dark purple iris and some 4 foot cattails that need dividing. Need any of those?

Hi Bev --

Both sound lovely! Let me know what you'd like (or NOT like) in the package, and let me know where I can find your mailing address. Oh what fun! Thanks!

I would love the rush and the papyrus! My address is in the exchange, is yours? I'd love the floaters, but they are annuals here, so next year early, right? lol!
I could send a flat rate box with both, but it will prob. take me a week or longer to get to it if that's ok...Packing up DD for freshman year at college, whew!

I am indeed in the address exchange! Take your time sending - it'll get here when it gets here ;-) I'd prefer you to receive my end first, anyway. I'll give you a head's-up when I'm mailing. Good luck with all the college prep!

Do you have any papyrus left? (Is it Cyperus papyrus?)

I would love even just a tiny division to get through the winter in a sunny window.

I'd love to trade for some.....please take a look at my trade list and see if anything interests you...if not...I do have other things not listed.
TIA!

Hi Kim --

Let me know which ones you'd like and I'll put together a package for you. Once it's ready to go, I'll let you know and we can do the PayPal thang ;-) Are you in the address exchange? If so, I'll find you there. If not, I'll nag you for your mailing address ;-) Thanks!

Hi Nan --

I have a handsome clump of Papyrus for you, and yes, it's the big one ;-)
I'd love to trade for a cutting of your hoya or brugs if you have any bits to spare. Thanks!

Hi Joyce --

I'd love to trade for some of your Bird of Paradise - I lost mine last winter and would love a chance to replace it. Let me know what plants you'd like and I'll put together a nice package for you. Are you in the address exchange? Thanks!

I would love to have some of your plants if you have extra. Don't have much to trade though but would be glad to send a money order for the items. Things I can trade are. Old fashion holly hock seeds, a few iris, cactus and lots of golden rod seeds, just kidding about these I live where these are noxious weeds and we have been trying to get rid of them for years in the pasture. Thank You Susan
