I posted this on another thread but didn't get a response so I'm starting a new thread.
Time has passed and I have two chrysalis'. One seems ready to break free. Twice in three days I have noticed the thing banging back and forth against the stick it is attached to. Is this normal? Is it stuck? Is there anything I can or should do to help?

Sybil, that's normal for them to do that, I think there's a lot of magic going on in there. Just let them do their thing, they've been doing if for million of years.
What relief. I didn't know what to think! There is magic for sure.
