hey. i have started a hardy hibiscus collection, and today i got my first blooms from my lord baltimore and lady baltimore. do any of yall know as to whether or not the seeds will come true to the parent? also, i have texas star hibiscus, both varieties, and i was wndering if any of yall know if its possible to make a pink one or sme kind of cross
lady baltimore
hibiscus ?'s
If they're close together you will most likely get a cross whether you like it or not. If they're far apart you'll get true seeds. Hardies are easy to root from a cutting BTW.
they are right next to eachother, but the white one is brand new, so i hand pollinated a red w/ white pollen, and white w/ red pollen
PS core, i liked yor idea so much that i decided to copy you. i have 500+ seeds from the red texas star. id love to get rid of some
