Yesterday I refilled my hanging feeders with some layer and oyster feed and possibly forgot to put the cap on the oyster feed. So this morning I found it open with cat poop in it. On the top and dug down a little.
So do I have to buy an entire new bag of oyster shell feed, or just take the poop out??? Will the cat poop infect the feed at all???

Oyster feed question
So I finally cleaned out all the cat poo. But now I smell pee.
I know it's a stupid question but is it still eatable for them now???
I personally wouldn't. Cats and birds don't mix very well.
Couldn't you just run a lot of water through the shells and wash off the pee and then let them dry out?
Maybe if you dig out a around the area where it smells? Thats another option
Well trying the washing idea would probably take forever, cause I have an entire bucket full of it. lol. So I guess I'll have to buy an entire new bag of it.
Thanks anyways
Eric
