We are in drought conditions, I am watering yet my clematis are looking stressed. I can't decide if I should fertilize or not.
Normally I would be having a second round of blossoms right now and I am not. In my reading I get conflicting answers to my question.
What do you think?
Do I fertilize my clematis in a drought?
With any fertilizer regardless if it's a drought/dry or not..always water the plant well first and then add the fertilizer and water again..I just broadcasted 13-13-13 everywhere..even around my clematis just a couple of days ago..I like using the 13-13-13 later on in the season and have a great response from my clematis and plants...Jeanne
