As it is affectionately called at work where I planted it.
I planted it on the recommendation of someone in this forum. It was described as a sort of cross between arugula and cilantro. But, honestly, it does sort of smell like wet dog (the way curry leaf smells like petroleum).
Now, if anyone can tell me how to cook with it, I suspect that I could like it but would like some recommendations from a papalo afficionado so that I can be truly turned on.
Thanks!
Karl
Papalo aka The Wet Dog Herb
I nibbled a leaf once and decided Papilo has no place in my kitchen or my garden! You might find some folks who love it, but honestly it's on my list of "the worst things I ever tasted."
"Wet dog" doesn't even begin to describe it.
And you thought I loved all herbs... LOL
Sorry, I know that's not the helpful response you were looking for!
