CLOSED: 3 lenten roses to trade, brown eyed susans....

Plainwell, MI(Zone 5b)

I have 3 lenten roses that have never blossomed for me and i would love to trade them to some one that has better luck with them. the plants are very healthy the leaves are dark green. i must not have the right PH or some thing. i also have several roots of brown eyed susans, purple cone flowers, and "ditch lilies" that i would like to trade for any thing hardy to zone 5 and dappled light. I really love hydranges, daylilies of other than orange color. Any kind of daisy type flowers, and would love some dwarf mondo grasses. this is apicture of the "b.e.s." they are so happy looking... But i am open to any suggestions I like trading alot its so much fun. Ronna

HI, I would have some red daylilies for your lentan roses. This would have to be later on in the season, as I have seed pods on these. They are about 4" across and closer to a rose red than an orange red. They bloom over a long period of time and are really nicely branched (3 way)-so you don't end up with just overlapping blooms at the top. I also have light/medium yellow daylilies. They were one of the later blooming ones this season. They are about 4" across and maybe 14" high- also heavy bloomed this season.

Hi Ronna, if things don't work out with Marcia, I'd like the lentan roses too. Being a new gardener and all, I don't have much though. I have hardy dwarf blueberry cuttings, mara de bois strawberry runners, a hosta and a small stonecrop plant to trade. Don't know if you'd be interested in any of these items though.. And thanks again for the TL bublets..

Lindy
