Congratulations, Karen! I'm excited for you! It doesn't look like any named cultivar that I am familiar with, but it is beautiful just the same. I love my unnamed hybrids just as much as the named ones. Thanks for posting these pics! I can feel your excitement;-) Congrats to the other Karen also!

Thanks Clare... and thanks Karen! I just keep going back and staring at it, and touching it, and smelling it again!

I agree with Teresa! That is very beautiful. Adeniums are actually related to plumerias, and this is your thread so you go for it! My 'Noble Concubine' is blooming right now, and it is so pretty. Have a great time at the Botanical Gardens;-)

Have had a few more blooms that i have enjoyed thoroughly... but I believe this may be my last one. *sigh*

My question now is... what do I do with the inflo spike when there are no more flowers? Do I leave it on the plant, or do I cut it off?

Thanks!

It's beautiful, Karen! Nooooooooooooooo, never cut off an inflo unless it is rotting: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/714239/
